Athena's shattered femur surgery

Hi, My name is Judy and I am reaching out for help for my Athena who went missing after being picked up from daycare and taken home by a wag walker (her usual routine). We found her two days later after the help of our friend on the ring platform were able to tell us her last known location. Athena was found with a shattered right femur and obvious trauma. The story we were told was that she bolted out of the vehicle when the door was opened. We believe we ae only being told half of a story as Athena is always exhausted from daycare and knows the running of waiting to be lead by he leash upon exiting a vehicle. She has no history of running or of any aggressivity of any kind. She was raised and lives with five cats seamlessly due to he gentle nature.

Wag refused to help and told us there was a breach of contract due to me being in NY and Athena being home in Orlando and almost immediately terminated search efforts. We are asking if you can please send anything that you could to help. Athena's surgery is about $10,000 dollars on the high end. We need $6,000 dollars to complete the payment as would only continue treatment with an up front payment.

Please if you could donate it would be much appreciated. The only other option they gave is putting her down and that is cruel when she has so much life left to live. Wag needs to vet their walkers and assure they are qualified to handle pets who are huge parts of families.
