Atlas air mattress to prevent bed sores

Dear Sir/ madam

I am writing to ask for your generous support in helping me obtain a specialized air mattress that is critical for my health and quality of life.

As a 53-year-old quadriplegic, I have been confined to bed for the past 6 months due to a severe pressure sore. This has greatly impacted my wellbeing and put me at risk for further complications. An alternating pressure air mattress system would make an enormous difference by:

• Preventing the formation of new pressure ulcers

• Promoting healing of my existing wound

• Improving circulation and skin health

• Providing greater comfort and reducing pain

• Enhancing my overall quality of life

The recommended mattress costs $3,500. Through my own efforts, I have raised $1,830 so far. I am hoping to raise the remaining $1,670 needed to purchase this vital piece of medical equipment. I have a letter of support from my occupational therapist and a quote from my local vendor that's available upon request.
