Atreus Jaymes

Atreus my warrior came into this world ON 10/05/23 FEARLESS and BRAVE with ARPKD and gained his wings on 01/21/24 after fighting an aggressive infection along with this disease.

ARPKD is Autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease that is a rare inherited childhood condition where the development of the kidneys and liver is abnormal. At first we were told Atreus was not going to live the first hour,first day or even first week of his life,but he has beaten all the odds. The journey started and ended here at Boston Childrens hospital where he was intubated and had his left kidney removed and a PD dialysis port put in.

Atreus had been struggling the last few days and was put on the highest vent possible due to Pneumonia and an infection in his PD catheter and blood.

He will always be my warrior,my pumpkin. Please pray for my family during this difficult time.
