BRC National Quadrille (equine) Competition fundraiser

Amy, Jane, Lorna, Mel and I are hoping to raise £1000 to take four horses to the Lincoln Show Centre in April 2025 to represent the Solent Riding Club in the regional Quadrille Competition.

This competition is highly competitive with a maximum of 16 teams, of 4, competing for a coveted trophy.

The competition involves 4 of us riding simultaneously in walk trot and canter, to music, to create a story to keep the audience entertained.

We will be judged on our musical interpretation, costumes, routine and obedience of horses working together and in natural paces.

We have been rehearsing seriously for a couple of months and are now organising and funding our costumes, music, transport and accommodation for the show.

The Riding club are paying towards the entry fees but all other costs (of which there are a lot) are covered by the team.

We are organising a Demo and fund raising evening on 28th March at Quob Stables to help with some of the costs but are hopeful that some of our other friends and colleagues, who can’t come, can spare a few pounds to help send us on our way to Lincoln.
