Youth With a Mission 6month Training & Service

After graduating high school, I attended a year of college studying outdoor leadership at Prairie Bible College. This college experience enriched my physical and spirititual growth. I lived away from home while studying and challenging myself in outdoor wilderness pursuits, such as rock climbing, white water canoeing, search and rescue, avalanche control, ice climbing and lots more! This program and the people in it inspired growth in my relationship with the Lord. Pursuing missions work is one of my passions. I am very excited to pursue this passion this coming fall semester through YWAM's University of Nations, Kona campus. The program involves three months of discipleship training in Hawaii, followed by three months of outreach, likely in a developing country. UofN instructors will decide in which country my service placement will happen, when they make teams a few weeks into the discipleship program. On my missions trip my team will serve locals, meet real needs, and show people the power of love. I have chosen the project focus Compassion Ablaze, where I will get to provide foster care, support, crisis pregnancy care, afterschool programs, and community celebrations. YWAMisson program participants are required to fundraise a sufficient amount to cover courses, residence, flights, and outreach projects. I would greatly appreciate your financial and prayer support as I prepare to leave in September 2022.
