Atticus The BVT Office Cat needs you!

Hello! As anyone who has passed through Bristol Valley Theater knows, Atticus the office cat is an essential part of the BVT company--heading the welcome committee, stealing our baked goods, and providing surrogate cuddles for all the employees who are missing their own pets at home. Recently, Atticus was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism--which explains his recent weight loss and thinning coat. Left untreated, his prognosis is not good. The good news is, there is not only a treatment, there is a CURE that is effective in 98% of cases. It involves a one-time injection of radioactive iodine which is absorbed into the thyroid and...well...fixes things. And puts the cat at no risk or discomfort! No need for further treatment, medications or special diet. The pre testing and treatment costs will total around $3000. I'm hoping all that know and love Atticus (or who just love cats and cat people) or ever enjoyed a little Atticus time at the office will pitch in to help support the treatment. Together we can do this! He is slated to have the procedure in January, but we are on a waiting list to get an earlier appointment.
