Help us fix our house, please.

Well, I never thought we'd get to this point, but we truly need help. My name is Carlyn. We bought our first house in Dec 2019, and since then, we've had one thing after another. This house ended up being a janky flip job. More electrical problems than I can count, and a flooded finished basement within the first 6 months that took over a year to fix after finding out our home warranty was basically useless. Most of the repairs were out of pocket. Two cars completely broke down, and we could only afford one car note to replace them.
In June 2023, a tree fell on the roof and destroyed almost the entire 2nd story and almost every possession within. Fortunately, the storm was in the afternoon, and no one was home except myself. No physical injuries, but a lot of mental trauma for myself. The insurance we had was a nightmare from start to finish. We were displaced from June until January of 2024 and only received about $2000 to replace all of our possessions. My boyfriend lost an 8+ year job and the salary to go along with it in the middle of all that tree stuff. We've been struggling to get our feet on the ground since then.
We both have full-time jobs and don't have the ability to get second jobs with only one car, and our families aren't in any position to help us out. Currently, our fridge has been broken for 2 months, and we're having the same plumbing problems that we had years ago, minus the indoor flooding because we caught it in time, but we basically can't run water. So toilets, dishes, showers, laundry, all off the table. We had a company come out today (2-26) and run cameras. He informed us that we have a bellied pipe, and the only solution is to dig and replace. It's thousands of dollars, and we simply can't afford it. Bills keep going up, things keep breaking, and we just simply can't keep up.
We were ready to just sell the house and walk away, but come to find out, we can't qualify for another mortgage because our current job had us listed as 1099 employees for 2024, and the mortgage companies want W2s for 2 years as proof of income. It just feels completely overwhelming, and we're beyond the end of our rope. We don't want to lose our house; we just want to be able to live in it. We aren't the type of people to ask for handouts, but we desperately need help. Anything is appreciated. Thank you so much for even taking the time to read this far.
