Bringing Elijah home

Dear Family and Friends, It’s with a heavy heart and great difficulty that we announce the passing of our beloved son Carlos Elijah Pena (known to all as Eli or Elijah). Elijah passed away on December 19th, 2022 at the age of 22. Elijah is the light of our family and heaven has gained an Angel. To know him was to love him; He was compassionate, kind hearted, loving, a wonderful son, grandson, and a great brother to his sister Ciara. Elijah was extremely funny and with his smile and presence he could light up a room. He was the light in our eyes, precious son and his memory will continue to beat in our hearts. Thank you to everyone for your kinds words, messages and support during this difficult time of our lives. 

Funeral services and arrangements will be announced at a later time. A Gofundme page has been started as a fundraiser to collect donations to bring Elijah Home to New York. 

Due to tremendous out pouring of love and support from our family and friends and numerous request to do so we’ve decided to open a GoFundMe account. The funds collected will assist in providing Elijah with a going home memorial filled with love from everyone who knew and loved him. If you would like to donate it will be greatly appreciated.
