My name is Jane Wilkinson-Bunch and my journey of unfortunate circumstances began last March and has continued until recently.
“Many of you messaged me to ask if this was SPAM and I can understand why. I have never had to ask for help and to have to now truly is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
On May 5th, after I flew home from working out of state for many months, Something I would have never dreamed of …….happened.
Saturday my whole body began cramping up. My toes starting cramping upwards towards the top of my foot! I don’t remember any of this and I wasn’t in any pain, which was God’s gift to me.
That evening, I am told we grilled out with our closest friends with us from the day. As time progressed and I tried going to bed, Doug said my entire body started cramping up and I was talking “gibberish”!! He called 911 but started driving to the nearest trauma center ER. After testing and thinking I had a stroke, the labs came back with hyperatremia along with other issues caused by this. My sodium dropped to 109!! Deadly ! Who would have thought low sodium almost cost me my life ?? The specialists asked for permission to intubate me and the ventilator and God saved my life. I was in the ICU and hospital for over a month. From heart Caths to many tests, I am here by the grace of God.
When I had the seizures when we first got to the ER, Doug said it was like a scene from the Hulk! Lol. I fractured two areas of my back during this seizure. The pain from that is ongoing but I can handle it !
I am just recently back to where I feel like working out lightly, walking, and going back to work full time. This is something you watch and live with the rest of your life , but I am thankful God has me here as a testimony to others.
While it is SO difficult for me to ask for help, it’s even harder not having the ability to get the medical help you must have to live a fulfilling life . Any help would be greatly appreciated. My health insurance, as a self-owned company is. It good to say the least and left me with over $225 k in medical debt!!
God bless and again, thank you for your love, prayers, kindness and generosity. It is appreciated more than you will ever know.
With much love gratitude,
