Audiotrope 2021
Donation protected
So we have been self-funding Audiotrope since September 1st 2020 as we really believed in it as a project that could transform people's lives during the Covid-19 crisis.
We think we have created something really beautiful that not only supports our local musicians but also provides free gigs every Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun for audiences who miss the real life gig experience.
So many amazing unexpected beautiful moments came from this last 3 months and we plan to try and keep it afloat through December and January 2021 while we wait for news of funding support from Arts Council England.
From musicians who had never recorded in a studio before like Scott Chisholm, to bands that hadn't been able to get together for months like Alice Rowe - to simple requests from people missing gigging so much, they needed an audience.
We've cried, laughed, danced, cried some more.
We've attracted monthly audiences consistently of upwards of 110,000 views and we have built something from the community upwards which could help support the musicians in future. A legacy.
So help us help the musicians some more and donate if you feel you can. It will be used to directly benefit a musician/s in the form of pay - £100 per gig as well as directly paying the rest of the crew who are based in Hastings including sound techs, videographers, photographers, digital techs and more - all who would struggle right now without this.
Audiotrope was built to support musicians with audiences and gigs during Covid-19 and you can help us help them by donating even a £5.
