In Memory of Audrey Currie

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our mom, Audrey Currie.

As many of you may know, there was an accident on highway 97A , south of sicamous, in Mara BC on Dec 3rd 2023 around 2:30pm, between a logging truck and a van. When the logging truck hit the van head on, it took the life of our mother, Audrey.

Audrey leaves behind her children Natasha, Dustin, Yvonne and Nikki to deal with the unimaginable loss. She was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

Audrey was struggling with health issues for many years before the accident, she just received life changing bypass surgery that would allow her to get her life back and be able to work again. She was just recovering and finding a light at the end of the tunnel when this accident happened.

In the wake of this unexpected tragedy, we are reaching out to you, our extended community, to help support the family during this difficult time. The funds raised will be directed towards covering the expenses relating to her death , including travel expenses from out of province to allow all children to say a final goodbye.
