Audrey Gray Memorial

In loving memory of Audrey Shanay Gray.

 

On September 10, 2021, 35 year old Audrey Gray passed away due to COVID leaving behind her 4 young children.

 

After her symptoms accelerated quicker than expected Audrey was placed on a venilator and hours later wasn't able to recover. May she Rest In Peace. Sadly when Audrey's pain ended her family's had just begun. Please keep sending prayers and love out to her family as they do their best cope together. To her Mother Jackie, her Father Melvin, and her two sisters Andrea and Alisha may you be given strength in your times you feel like you can't go on, comfort in your time of heartbreak, and peace in your heart to heal.

 

A mother should never have to bury her child and a child should never have to be raised without their mother.

Audrey was a nurturing, kind, fun loving and giving mother to not only her children, but also other kids in need. She leaves behind her children Kenya age 14, Zyaire age 10, Vincent Jr. age 9, and Nijeria age 7.

 

This GoFundMe is for them. This will not only help the family with  Audrey’s medical bills, funeral and memorial service, it will also help look after these young children as they get situatued with basic essentials and back on their feet while adjusting to such an unexpected turn of events. And for their futures as a trust will be set up in their names.

Family is eternal and Audrey's time was cut far too short for reasons far greater than our understanding. But the things we can understand are empathy, compassion, humanity, and unity. As Audrey's family lean on each other to stand strong, let us help this family stay strong financially. If we can't carry the weight of the pain for them hopefully we can come together and carry the weight in another way.
