Help Audrey Marshall Fight Leukemia

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Audrey.
Audrey was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of November. Specifically, she has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia that is acting on the T-Cells in her body.
What this means for her is that she has to undergo a month of initial chemo in the hospital. After this point, if she is in remission, then she’ll start outpatient chemo work. If she is not in remission, then Audrey will undergo a bone marrow/stem cell transplant to try and overcome the leukemia. Once she can reach remission, the outpatient chemo will begin with an intensive period of 5 months followed by maintenance chemo work for some years following.
Despite all of this, Audrey has not put her plans on hold. She’s still pushing to finish her last semester of school so that she can graduate with her degree in teaching from Oklahoma State. To those who know her, this comes at no surprise. She’s a tenacious spirit that does her best to not only accomplish her goals, but to help and lift up those around her along the way.
We’re asking for any help that can be provided during this extremely challenging time. While she is covered under insurance, it’s still unknown what costs will look like. Audrey will need to be within 20 minutes of the hospital during her outpatient work and our parents live 3 hours away which means that Audrey will have to live in a new home that’s much closer. Unfortunately, COVID has led to the shutdown and/or extremely limited capacity in the homes and facilities that are usually available to cancer patients and their families. This means that we’ll have to finance lodging on our own.
Donations will go to medical expenses, lodging for Audrey during her outpatient work, and travel expenses for our parents to visit her. The goal is for Audrey’s and my parent’s sole focus to be on her health and not the financial burden this has placed on them.
I’ll provide updates on how she’s doing. Audrey is already doing this across her social media so I’ll do my best to paraphrase on here.
