Fight for Mike

In May 2018, my father Michael was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. He began radiation seeds to hopefully start to kill the cancer. The first round of seeds they also did an ablation to kill of the big tumors. That was the worst painful thing he has ever had to go through. The second round they noticed he had 50 plus little tumors on the right side of his liver. They did a stronger batch of seeds to try to kill them all. The third and final round they found only 2 small tumors were left! We thought that everything would start looking up for us!They waited three months to do another scan to see how everything was looking, that’s when we found out there’s a mass in his lungs that the doctors aren't too sure about at this time. 

My father is the kindest, hardworking man you will ever meet. He’d do anything for his family. He had just celebrated his 51st birthday on September 24th. 

Right now he is admitted to Duke for having pneumonia really bad. He needs to be on oxygen at all times.  So he’s currently not working. My mom is with him at all times so she’s not working either. Doctor and hospital bills are piling up. 

No one knows what the future holds for him, but I do know that he is a fighter and he will NOT give up. Our family needs as many prayers and well wishes as we can possibly get. All donations will go to hospital and doctor bills. God is good, Love to all
