Katrina Nelson

Hello, my name is Erica and Katrina was my Aunt. I am creating this fundraiser for the benefit of my cousins as they try to wade through the absolute devastation of losing their mother, my Aunty.

She worked her normal shift and when she should have been on her way home, she quietly and unexpectedly passed away at work. She was only 52 years old. She is survived by her mother, two sons, a daughter as well as 3 grandchildren. My mum and my uncle are her surviving siblings. We really just can’t believe this has happened. It was unexpected and there were no warning signs.

We are just broken. She was a single mother and a full time Nurse. Her passing has been so hard on us all. We could greatly use the help of others to help us raise some money to help offset the cost of her mortuary and funeral services. We are also trying to raise some funds to help her sons who are still currently living at home.

Katrina was vibrant and giving. She opened her home to those who needed a safe place. She rescued all of the animals. She was an amazing Gardner and the absolute best person to take to an amusement park. She was always on “Katie Time” and she was always worth the wait.

Any and all help would so greatly be appreciated. All funds collected will be transferred to her Daughter on behalf of my Aunty’s boys.
