Aunty Mary..giving 54 years to Ysgol Iau Hen Golwyn

Aunty Mary is one of the most popular people in Old Colwyn's community. Literally just everyone knows her. She has given 54 years of her life to Ysgol Iau Hen Golwyn, As a dinner lady and someone to confide in and now after handing in her retirement she is volunteering to listen to children read 3 times a week. This is proper dedication to the school and the children. I know this is her life.

After losing her husband right at the beginning of covid, she has become not just a neighbour but a true friend for life. She would do absolutely anything for anyone as she is so selfless and this is why she should have the retirement that she deserves.
