Aurora Sarmiento

Our beloved Aurora recently passed on January 14, 2024. Aurora was a wonderful Sister, Wife of 42 years, Mother, and Grandmother who touched the lives of those around them. She leaves behind her husband Sofronio, sons Sidwell and Anthony, daughters Shieryl and Vanessa, and grandkids Nickayla, Nicholas, Novy, Devan, Evangeline, Angelico, Apollo, Marcello and Mila.

Aurora prioritized family, as everything she did was to ensure the family stayed together, she welcomed everyone into her home and life with open arms and even a full stomach.

April 2023 she was rushed to the hospital for a heart failure, she fought with her will to get back to be with family. It was a long year of battling and staying strong as she was in and out of the hospital frequently. January 2024, she was diagnosed with pneumonia which led to her leaving us.

She fought til the very end even with her health complications but still shared the selflessness to always ensure the ones around her were happy.

I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses to give her the proper ceremony for her big loving heart and to support her husband in this tough time of grief losing his best friend .
