Austen's leukemia recovery fund
Donation protected
This past November while going to a regular checkup Austen learned that his AML Leukemia had returned. The news shook his family as he had been in remission for 7 years and thought he was out of the woods. His wife (Brandi Hedges) and three children were most affected by the news. Austen began the transition from attentive family man to cancer patient shortly after and his family hasn't been the same since.
This time around Austen has had to undergo some of the most aggressive chemotherapy that is available. It is unknown at this point if the cancer has mutated or if he suffers from a rare genetic disorder that has predisposed him to fight this battle over and over again. This being his third bout with leukemia it seems more likely to be the latter.
With Austen out of commission and medical expenses what they are, any help you could afford to give would be greatly appreciated. We know that he will once again win this fight, but the financial burden that comes with that can be suffocating. Please help.
