Hi, my name is Bre, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my incredibly creative, kind, and hardworking cousin, Jeremy Austen, the owner of Austentatious in Florence, Oregon.

Austentatious is a small business that, over the last three years, has become a cherished part of the Florence, Oregon community.

Austentatious is not just a store; it's a safe space, a community hub, and a reflection of the love and creativity of this beautiful town.

Their gallery was voted 2022's Best Art Gallery in Florence, and has grown relationships with other small-businesses and artists throughout it's time it the space.

For three years, Jeremy has poured his heart and soul into creating a special place where local artists can showcase their talents, and where people can find unique, handcrafted items in a welcoming retail space. He's rented from the same landlord throughout this time, and even has the option to renew his lease in March 2024.

Recently, Jeremy has faced an unexpected and unfair challenge. His landlord has attempted to evict him from the space he's called home for Austentatious. To make matters worse, this eviction is being pursued without any legitimate or legal grounds. Jeremy has now been confronted with an uphill battle to defend the space he's worked tirelessly to create.

Jeremy invested over $10,000 of his own funds into remodeling Austentatious to make it the welcoming, artistic haven it is today.

It's been a labor of love, and we refuse to see it taken away unjustly.

We are seeking your assistance to raise the necessary legal fees to fight this unlawful eviction. We're determined to hold the landlord accountable for trying to take away something so precious to our community, and your contribution will make a significant impact.
