Austin Community: Stand Together After Explosion

Hi Austin and surrounding Communities! My name is Samantha and my house was one of many impacted by the home explosion on 4/13/25. As a neighborhood we’re all still wrapping our heads around what happened and where to start to begin putting our lives back together. I have seen the news reports, I have read the next door posts, and have talked to many of our impacted neighbors and I know people are asking how they can help! I too am trying to figure out what I can do for my own neighborhood as we deal with these tragic events. We’re all in an insurance “hold” while we wait for the investigation to be completed. Our houses are damaged, our lives are displaced, so I am hoping if I could start this gofundme to raise some additional funds for everyone then we can start putting some of the pieces back together both physically and mentally. No donation is too big or small. Every bit helps! Even prayers for all of us!

UPDATE: I have been hearing from more neighbors since I started this GoFundMe some have valid concerns of not being able to meet their deductible in order for insurance to cover the damage. Those closest to the house that exploded have extensive damage that will be thousands of dollars to repair. PLEASE KEEP SHARING THE POST!!! Sharing it gets the word out there and brings in more donations!
