Austin Hopp's Cardiac Arrest

Hi I'm Andrew and I'm fundraising money to help with my late brother Austin Hopp's medical bills.

 

June 22nd 2022 Austin was sitting down for dinner with our mom when he mentioned that he wasn't feeling well, moments later he had a seizure. Mom rushed over to provide care for Austin and found him without a pulse and not breathing. She provided CPR and talked with a dispatcher on 911 until paramedics arrived. Paramedics did their best to try and start Austin's heart again but he was rushed to MCR in Loveland. After over 70 minutes of chest compressions Austin's heart was finally started again. After his heart was restarted he was taken to have CT scans and Xrays. After the tests Austin was intibated, put in a meidcally induced coma and started full life support. Austin then went to the cardiac intenssive care unit after the emergency room.

Austin was on full lifesuppprt until 14:00 on Thursday June 23rd. Austin unfortunately passed away at 14:27 despite every doctor's and nurse's best effort.
