My family and I would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to each one of you. Whether you have helped out financially or have been praying for us, both are equally appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear Austin.
As a family we are devastated and so heartbroken. He was and still is a much loved son, grandson, nephew, brother, cousin & friend.
Austin was funny, kind, and so loved by every person who met him. He loved his family more than anything, and recently blessed us all with quality time we never knew we’d soon miss. He loved to go to his grandma Melissa and Grandpa Dale’s house just to sit and chat and he enjoyed sitting at the table talking with Grandma Donna. Recently, grandpa Tilmer introduced him to painting and Austin was an instant pro, making his grandpa so proud. He loved all five of his siblings so much and was such a huge part of their lives. Austin especially loved his mom (Sierra) and Aaron. Austin was Sierra’s first born and her pride and joy. Though Austin brought so much joy to our lives, He battled internal struggles that led to his untimely departure through suicide.
As we navigate the immense pain and loss, we find ourselves confronted with an unexpected financial burden. Suicide is a complex issue, and we want to be open about the circumstances surrounding Austin’s passing. Mental health struggles are often silent battles, and it's our hope that by being transparent, we can contribute to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
In Austin’s memory, let us come together to support one another and raise awareness about mental health. We appreciate your support, thoughts, and prayers. Together, let us honour Austin’s memory and advocate for compassion and empathy toward those facing mental health battles.
