Austin Plummer Memorial Walk 2017
Donation protected
This fundraiser is for the Austin Plummer Memorial Scholarship. This is the second year fundraising since Austins death in 2016. Austin Plummer was checked into the hospital in April, Thursday the 14th 2016, at 5 am. His symptoms matched the flu, but they soon found out his appendix had ruptured. He dealt with the symptoms for 2 days before he went to the hospital. Friends and family sent him all the love and prayers they could for the following 3 days. Unfortunately, Austin passed away Sunday, the 17th of April. He was 18 years old, his birthday less then a month away. Austin lived in Plattsburgh for 4 years, and remembering my friend, I know he loved to walk around this town. So, to remember him, I'm organizing this walk to fundraise for a scholarship in his name. All I can ask is that people donate what they can, and enjoy a walk with Austin. This year we will also be having a picnic, so please bring a dish or drink to share! The route of the walk is the Terry Gordon path, where Hamilton street and Jay street meet. We were very lucky and surpassed our goal of $2,000 dollars and hope to have the same luck again.
