Austin the Dodge City shooting hero
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Jessica and I am Austin’s little sister.
As many might know Austin is a bouncer at Central Station restaurant and bar. They had the unthinkable happen when a man entered and opened fire. He shot a total of 4 men, 2 of which passed away.
Albert the owner of Central Station said “I want to start a circle of prayers for Austin Zink a true HERO who tackled the Shooter outside and in the process got shot 3 times.” He wants everyone to know just how heroic Austin was as he tackled the shooter outside of the club. He had him subdued but unfortunately he wiggled free and then proceeded to shoot Austin 3 times. He was shot once in the hip, once in the arm and then one in the abdomen.
Austin was truly selfless by saving others with his act. He was flown to Wichita for emergency life saving surgery. He was a very lucky man according to the surgeon, he narrowly escaped life ending injury.
He has a very long road ahead of him with at least a week stay in the hospital and then the recovery at home.
Austin has 3 young kids that he loves dearly and cares for. They are his whole world.
This hero is going to need some support and help as he heals. Medical cost will rack up and he will miss quite a bit of work as he recovers and rehabs. We appreciate any help!
Thank you!
