Austin Williams Scholarship

Austin Williams was a young man who lived with excitement and passion for everything he was a part of. So many people, family, friends, and strangers were impacted by the infectious energy he always carried with him. Austin was a part of many activities including cross country and track, chorus, performing arts, and YoungLife. Through these commitments, he touched lives and made innumerable friends. In honor of Austin's life and the love and friendship he leaves behind, the Freeport High School Class of 2014 is looking to raise money for a memorial bench to place at the high school's new track and a scholarship in Austin's name for graduating students that share his passion for many extracurriculars and the friendships formed within them.
An engraved stone memorial bench will be approximately $3,000. We are looking to raise $2,000 for scholarship funds so that we may establish a $250 scholarship to be granted for the next 8 years. Should we surpass this goal, then the scholarship will be able to be continued for a longer period of time in his honor.
