Austin's Justice and Communal Fund

My name is Austin and I'm 25, recently unemployed from Walmart while starting to organize workers for a possible union. I have a passion to drive forward this effort, and ensuring the safety of my former associates is part of this plan. This was not simply another firing; this was intentional, targeted, and I fear what could happen to those that were talking with me. I was getting people to turn my way, my success was such a possibility they felt the need to remove me. This fund would go partially to myself; for bills, securing legal representation, having support through my case with the California Labor Board, and extra would be saved as an emergency fund for myself or others. I intend to continue my organizing efforts while securing my own assets separate from GoFundMe, but securing a fair Union and guaranteeing Job Security as well as Job Safety for those that deserve it is a key goal in my long term plans. Corporate cowardice stands no chance against communal connection. For community, and for change, a fight that does not stop at conversation must take place, we must be able to structure up ourselves and one another.
