Australian Drone Racing Team To Take On The World

We're raising funds for the Australian Drone Racing Team as they take on the world in Korea this October at the FAI World Drone Racing Championships.

Back for the first time since COVID interrupted absolutely everything, can Team Australia repeat the successes of previous years with podium finishes? The best pilots from all over the world will come together in the city of Namwon from the 6th to 9th of October to claim their position in the annals of drone racing history. This competition is truly unique in that pilots represent their country as a team and this year, 138 pilots from 42 countries are registered to compete. Just participating and meeting everyone in this close knit community is an amazing opportunity in itself.

We're trying to raise funds through gofundme as, sadly, Drone Racing doesn't yet attract even the basic funding that most sports teams receive when representing Australia at international events and the costs of sending an Australian team to Korea are not small. While we have received sponsorship and support from amazing companies like: Foxeer , Gemfan , MantisFPV and RisingSunFPV. It still a long way from covering the costs to participate in this event which are in excess of $30,000.

The funding raised here will be used to cover the team's travel expenses, registration costs and their uniform, so they look amazing as they set foot on the podium once again (fingers crossed).
