Australian Northern Rivers Flood Appeal

Hi, I'm Schellea, the creator of Fabulous50s and a resident of the Northern Rivers on the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

My local area has experienced unprecedented flooding in the past weeks, and the damage is unimaginable for the many who have lost their homes, belongings, animals, businesses and livelihoods.

Many have nothing at all...It's hard to comprehend. These are hard working, honest, community-minded families who really need our help. People helping people...

I have spent the past weekends lending a helping hand in the Lismore community and saw a great need to help families get back on their feet. The money raised on this platform will be given directly to families in need.

That's where you come in. If you are able to donate a small or large amount of money to help a family get back on their feet, it will be so much appreciated and well-received.

If many give $5, we can afford to purchase larger items, and the more you give, the more buying power we have. Please don't think that a donation is too small as every cent is valued. Of course, give big if you have the means!

Items that are needed for families to get back on their feet are:

Flooring, gyprock walls, electrical rewiring, fans, kitchen appliances, fridges, washing machines, beds, linen, dining tables, desks, office equipment, window furnishings, lawnmowers, ovens....the list goes on, but its pretty much everything you can think of!
