AUS UKRAINE AID

We started this project in April 2022 when my wife and I personally sourced and funded 2 second-hand ambulances filled with medical supplies. We then drove the ambulances 2,500kms to their destination and delivered them to Ukraine on May 26th.

With your help, so far we have crowdsourced over $365,000 and with some Individuals who have privately funded entire vehicles, we have now delivered 40+ medical vehicles across 5 trips and 20,000kms driven across Ukraine handing them to the front-line medical staff who use them daily to save lives.

As always we'd like to provide more vehicles and help save more lives of the brave Ukrainians who are fighting for their freedom in this unjust invasion. While people continue to contribute to vehicles we'll continue to deliver them.

 

100% of the money here is directly used to purchase ambulances, patient transport vehicles and associated medical supplies. You are directly contributing to buying part of an ambulance delivered directly to medics at the front lines to help them save lives. It is a direct crowd-sourced project which means no costs or administration costs are charged, these are all covered by James.

Who is behind Aus Ukraine Aid?

Well know Australian business person and North Sydney Councillor, James Spenceley is behind this project. 

Where is Aus Ukraine Aid based?

James and is based in Sydney, Australia. From here, he has been coordinating all the logistics around the purchase and refit of the vehicles which they are sourcing from Poland, Germany and the UK. James has been working with the Ukrainian humanitarian aid organisation Dobrovoz (website and Facebook) to coordinate border-crossing logistics and paperwork.

What is James' relationship to the parties he is raising funds for?

James is Australian and his wife is Ukrainian. James has spent significant time in Ukraine and having both family and friends there, he found it difficult to find direct and trusted ways to donate or get assistance immediately to help people in Ukraine. Speaking with relatives and friends in Ukraine, James found one of the most requested items to be ambulances, with many having been destroyed in the conflict. Therefore, he thought "what better way of helping the people of Ukraine directly that by personally delivering ambulances to the people and cities that need it the most?".
