(Author) Al Young’s Care

Those of us who have been following Al Young’s recovery post-massive-stroke in February know Al remains in an assisted living facility.  His progress has been slow and his care (even with insurance) is expensive. 

Many of us have wanted to offer support and assistance to Al but do not live close enough to the Berkeley area to offer physical support. Many of us have faced (or will face) the long term health costs associated with a sudden illness of an aging family members. 

Al Young has always been generous with his love, time, and vast storehouse of knowledge. This Go Fund Me Project has been set up in spirit of returning Al's love and generosity to Michael as he navigates managing Al's health care.
