Autism Acceptance Week: Supporting Lisanally Special School
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Once again, this year for Autism Acceptance Week (31st March-6th April), David & his brother's Sebastian & Louis (David & Sebastian both diagnosed with Autism) are taking on a very important mission to raise Autism Acceptance & Awareness in our community with the aim to also raise some money during Autism Acceptance Week. We will be walking, scooting & cycling 5 laps, everyday for 7 days around The Mall, Armagh to raise much-needed funds for Lisanally Special School. This cause holds a deeply personal significance to me, as David is a student in Lisanally Special School.
Lisanally Special School is situated in Armagh City and welcomes pupils from the wider Armagh area and beyond. Their pupils range from 4-19 years with a wide range of special talents and abilities.
The school has more than doubled in size in the last five years and as such, they are always working to provide age-appropriate resources across the school. One of the areas school would like to improve is age-appropriate outdoor equipment, suitable for their pupils, including scooters, trikes and a wheelchair swing.
However, like many special needs schools, Lisanally relies on fundraising efforts of their staff, parents and friends to supplement its resources and provide the best possible education and support for its students.
Every penny raised from this 7 day challenge will be used to enhance new playground resources for these amazing children at Lisanally. So please join us on this important mission during Autism Acceptance Week to ensure that every child at Lisanally Special School has the best possible education & support. Together, we can make a profound impact and empower all students to achieve their full potential.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
Warm regards,
David, Sebastian, Louis & Elena.
