Summer can be an incredibly challenging time for parents of children with special needs. The inconsistency or lack of services for their children between school sessions can be overwhelming.

Special needs individuals require consistent and intensive structure throughout the year. However, many parents are left struggling to create a full summer schedule for their children, especially while juggling other responsibilities such as work and caring for other children. The lack of services for their special needs child can make summer feel like a nightmare - but with your support, we can help!

Every child with special needs deserves an unforgettable summer camp experience. At Limitless (the original Celebrate the Children®), we take pride in being the pioneering summer program that evolved into the Celebrate the Children® School. Limitless is a groundbreaking and intensive summer camp program designed for individuals experiencing difficulties in relating and communicating, such as autism and other special needs, in NJ. Each year, we welcome students from across the world.

But, like in most special needs programs, children and young adults require intensive one-to-one support, significantly increasing the cost of programs for parents. For example, the cost of one 1:1 aide for one week is $875. All money raised by this campaign will go directly to paying 1:1 support for these campers. While some families can secure funding through their school districts and other agencies, many families are devastated to find out they cannot afford to send their child to our camp and don't have access to funding. Our hearts break when we hear these stories, and we strive to provide as many discounts and scholarships as possible. However, we also need to ensure that we cover our costs, particularly payroll.

This is where we need your help. We are reaching out to our community to ask for your support in providing scholarships for children to attend our special needs summer program. Your donation will make a significant difference in the life of a child and their family, turning a summer nightmare into a chance for their children to learn, play, and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment and experience the joys and benefits of a summer program - something many of us take for granted.

This year, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of providing an exceptional summer camp experience while also embracing a new location and welcoming numerous new families. We invest in experienced staff to uphold our program’s highest standards of quality, intensity, integrity, and safety. The development and happiness of our campers are our top priorities. Every child deserves an enriching and dynamic summer experience, and your support can help make this a reality.

As the Founder of the Celebrate the Children® School Model and the Limitless Summer Program (now in its 27th year!), I have had the honor of working with families of autistic children and adults for over 30 years. With your help, we can provide more Summer Camp scholarships to families in need this summer.
