Autistic child and mother evicted for the holidays
Donation protected
While getting ready for my sons birthday and Christmas there was a knock at the door, a bailiff with a reposession and eviction notice from the new owner of the building I live in a few days before Christmas. I was baffled.
From what I know, the new owner of the building is also evicting several other long term tenants, some elderly.
This was supposed to be a long term home for myself and my severely handicapped autistic son Noah to grow up in.
Noah is non verbal, he does not speak, has mobility issues, is incontenant and still wears diapers. He has autism and is severely mentally handicapped a well. He is loving, happy, gentle, funny and has the most amazing eyes.
I've been raising my son by myself since his birth.
Noah has only known this home, the specialized school he attends for autistic children (the only public school of its kind in my province) is in our neighbourhood, as well as his daycare and doctors and services.
I've fought the system for years to obtain these services for him which he will now loose.
Anything you can afford to give will be put towards our legal representation, and if we are forced out towards finding another home and specialized services for my son Noah.
On behalf of Noah and myself, we deeply appreciate your support.
Please pass on this important story.
God bless.
