Blake, My Autistic son is getting his 1st "own" home.

WE NEED YOUR KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY PLEASE

Hi, I am Monica, the mother and carer of Blake, who is in the photo.

He struggles with autism, ADHD and Anxiety. He struggles as well with severe System Overload. Due to his condition he's very isolated and gets lonely.

However, he's been allocated his 1st forever home. This is very exciting and overwhelming. He needs to be more independent and hopefully this will get him out more.

The reason for this fundraiser is to help get the things that Blake will need to be able to settle into his new life. We have been waiting for a long time and then suddenly Blake gets allocated a flat.

To start off we need to pay a large deposit. The property is completely empty and we need all the white goods including a cooker. All furnishings including a bed, linen etc.

Why we don't have it? I'm a pensioner and Blake is on low benefits. I saved every penny for the last 3 years to get Blake diagnosed privately, because he had been waiting since 2013 to get an NHS one. ( Hence why our income is limited) £3500 later he is diagnosed and slowly but surely we and the system are starting to give Blake the care he needs.

I am not getting any younger and have my own health issues. I need to get him to learn to live independently.
