Auto accident left me with no income

Hello there,

My name is Rob and I could really use a hand right now.

Last September I was in a car accident which caused 2 bulged disks in my back, one of which was torn. Since then, I've been in chronic pain, but able to work and take care of myself and was on the path to recovery.

A month ago, the torn disk "popped" and got much worse. I am now unable to take care of myself (clean my house, do my own laundry). The pain is constant and gets worse if I stand or sit upright.

I've been put on leave because I've used my year's worth of paid time off with a half a year to go. I've filed for extended paid leave (FMLA) and my claim is pending. I'll hopefully see my first payment by July 15th, but that's uncertain.

Rent is due on July 1st and my last paycheck didn't cover my bills. This is where I'm asking for your help.

I'm asking for help to cover rent, food and unexpected bills.

My expenses are roughly

Rent: $625

Food/medications: $300

Miscellaneous: $75

This is just a rough estimate of what it would cost to make it to July 15th.

I know it's a lot to ask and I've been living off the kindness of others for a while now, but I'm currently at a loss for what else I can do.
