Autonomy Salon & Wellness

Autonomy Salon & Wellness is a locally LGBTQIA+ owned salon located just outside of Richmond. We do our best to help with and engage within our community and it is with gratitude and hope that we ask for help at this time.

Both the business and business owner have been struggling greatly and we need a little help to get back on to our feet in order to get back to bettering the lives of both or staff and our communities. While we are not in jeopardy of closing our doors thanks to the incredible support of our guests we currently have, we are having a hard time making sure that everyone is making a living wage.

With these funds we are able to pay our hourly employees a rate that allows for more quality of life as well as increase the commission rate for salon stylists. We have also meet to make necessary upgrades to the salon, that give us the means to better help our community.

We very much appreciate anyone who is able to donate what they can but we ask please do not donate if you yourself don’t have the funds to do that first. We by no means expect the queer community to do all of our heavy lifting for us, especially not at the detriment of themselves.

We hope to reach our goal not to just do better for our staff and building, but to do better for our community as well. With your help we know we will be on the right track to doing just that!
