Volunteer work with Ukrainian refugees

Hi, my name is George Berry, and I am raising funds to work with Ukrainian refugees in Krakow, Poland, in November. The group I will be working with, Drop in the Ocean, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is a medium size group that pays no expenses. Some of the costs are pretty high, especially accommodations, as many rooms have been given to refugees. I will be there for at least four weeks.

The money raised will be used for transportation to Poland and the work site daily, food and accommodations. I'm sure there are other expenses, but if I can raise enough for these or even part of them, I can cover the remainder.

I feel very strongly about the way these people have been treated. They have been forced to leave their homes with very little, and many have no home to return to. I have recently retired and thought this was a very worthy cause.
