Ava Christopher

Many knew Ava Christopher as a shining light in their lives. She brightened the lives of every person she met including her family, friends, and the customers of Sugar Ghost lucky enough to wander in looking for a little joy in their day. When Ava was behind the bar, they stumbled into more than a little joy. Instead, she provided pure, unadulterated happiness in her smile, her eyes, and her gorgeous personality. Tragically, Ava’s life was cut short early Tuesday morning when, after leaving a celebration dinner with her friends, her car was struck by an unknown, reckless driver who then ran from the scene on foot. Hundreds of people who have felt her impact in their lives are left mourning for her beautiful presence and undoubtedly amazing future.

Ava was passionate about everything she did. She was involved in theater, scuba diving, and her studies in biology at the University of Memphis. She also carried a deep love of animals with plans to become a veterinarian after graduation. In an attempt to continue the positive impact she had on the world, those who love her have created this memorial through go fund me to raise money to donate to the cause of animal care and rescue.
