Ava Linnéa Curtis

On December 8, 2023, Katrina gave birth to her and Ryan’s very first child, Ava Linnéa Curtis.

At birth, Ava was unable to breathe on her own and required resuscitation. She was transferred to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta Egleston (CHOA) and remains there now, still requiring a ventilator. Ava was born with a rare genetic condition, strongly believed to be Treacher Collin’s syndrome (TCS), affecting her ears and her facial structures, one of which is responsible for her breathing difficulties. Her future will require a long road of medical care and surgeries.

The condition Ava has was a shock to everyone and was not detected on scans. Katrina and Ryan are both working parents, and this has turned their world upside down. They want to give Ava the best life she can possibly have. Please consider donating any amount you can to go directly towards the baby’s care and medical bills.
