Ava Rose Male - Get Ava to the Games!

Ava Rose Male, 15 years old, born and raised in Parson Cross Sheffield is going to the CrossFit Games!!

Ava qualified for the Semi Finals in 6th place and after taking on four tough semi final work outs last week, she's qualified for the games in 10th position.

Ava joined CrossFit Rotherham when she was 11, after watching her dad in class and asking if she could give it a go. In 2022 Ava made the decision to finish her training as a gymnast and put all her time and dedication into Crossfit.

Ava has gone from strength to strength and over the last year thanks to her coach Liam and her dedication her training has come on leaps and bounds. Last year at just 14, Ava took on the CrossFit Open for the first time and got through to the quarter finals where she placed 37th in the 14 to 15 year old category.

At 15 Ava holds her own in elite level competitions with women who have been training for years. Competing in the RX (Top) category at the Rainhill Trails.

CrossFit is Avas passion. Asked what she wants to do her answer is CrossFit, asked what she wants to do as a career her answer is CrossFit. Her consistency and dedication to her training is commendable.

We are 100% behind Ava and want to do anything we can to make her dream a reality.

The CrossFit games age group finals take place in Michigan USA this year. Now that Ava has done her work we need to raise enough money to get her and her team over to America to compete.

We need plane tickets to get Ava and her team to the USA, transport and accommodation while out there and we need to feed a busy team too!

We have plans to embark on serval testing physical and mental challenges to raise money for Ava's dream.
