Ava Stones Wake and Funeral Expenses

Hello/Boohzhoo,

My name is Trina Lussier. On Saturday, January 7th, 2023, My daughter Ava Lussier unexpectedly passed away, at 19 years old.. She leaves behind her 2-year-old daughter, Aria. Her passing shocked and devastated our family deeply. Ava loved and cared for all our little ones. She loved all of her nieces and nephews as her own. Her number one priority was being an amazing mother to her daughter. She loved and cared for Aria with everything she had. Aria was Avas bestfriend. They were inseparable. Any time you saw Ava, Aria was right by her side. Ava was a great aunt to Meah. Ava loved Meah and cared for her as her own. I am so proud of the great person she turned out to be. Ava was always looking out for our family. She was a great friend. She loved taking pictures. She loved exploring places with her friends. She was such a strong young woman. And she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

I am asking for support from the community during this difficult time. We need financial support. My family and I want to send her off with a traditional Native American service. This is important for our family. We want to be able to honor Ava and send her off into the spirit world while practicing our teachings. `This is important to us because as indigenous people we didn't always have the resources or right to host traditional services.

We would use the donations to cover costs for wake expenses such as food costs, venue costs, burial expenses, like casket fees, funeral home expenses, cemetery and plot expenses, gas and lodging for a Spiritual Advisor. A blanket, and clothing for Ava to be able to use on her journey.
