Avalon has always been about giving back to our community and helping those most in need of support. Our wonderful staff at Avalon Cafe & Bakery is among the most loyal, dedicated and hard-working staff we have known. Day in and day out, they provide the residents and workers of Detroit with a caring, warm and genuinely personal experience. Many have been with Avalon on Woodward from the very beginning. All of them have been deeply impacted by the sudden closure of our store. With no source of income for an undetermined amount of time and no other jobs available, we are hoping this campaign will help lift them up and support them in this time of need.
