Avalon Garden Affordable Cooperative Housing

Hi, we are Avalon Community Land Trust, and we are raising money to get construction underway on a large, very affordable cooperative house in Bloomington, Indiana.
- We have the land;
- we have permits and zoning;
- we have plans and a contractor.
- We have loan commitments, but the lenders insist that we find $50,000 as “cash equity” before they will close.
- We are a 501.c3 non-profit so your donation is tax deductible
We feel a certain urgency to get underway before too much of the good weather and the year are gone. We hope to build seven new, affordable rooms, plus common areas, for 7-10 low income Bloomington neighbors. We would love to get this house, set in a Community Garden (Avalon!), ready by the Fall of 2024.
