Avalon Gum Tree landscape Mural

Hi all, I am organising a crowd fundraiser to have a beautiful new mural in Avalon! Some of you may have seen Daniels's post on Avalon Whats On FB site. Daniel Hend is a professional muralist born and raised in Mullumbimby specializing in Australian landscapes, flora and fauna, he has painted over 100 murals in the last 9 years from the Gold coast to Tasmania. The Avalon RSL have enthusiastically come on board and agreed that he can paint an amazing Australian Bush landscape on their wall in Bowling Green Lane (opp the carpark). It will be under the Centenary Cockatoo emblem. The project is estimated to cost approx $4k and the RSL has kindly agreed to put in $1k. So we need $3k - which I'm sure we can do based on the enthusiastic comments from the community on his work. It will be completed in the next month or so.

I think it is really important to celebrate our beautiful tree canopy and celebrate our stunning gum trees.
