ava’s emergency vet bills

hello, i am not the type to ask for help but after one of the hardest years, especially financially, for our family, this emergency is going to put us even more in debt, but we want to do everything we can to save our dog, or at least make her as comfortable as possible…
ava is an alaskan malamute, she just turned 5 years old last week (12/6). in august of 2021 she had her first seizure, i saw it and it was unbelievably heartbreaking. since then she’s had as many as 10-12 a month, even with medication to help prevent them.
shes been able to go a few months without a seizure, but then she’ll have a lot in a short period.
this weekend she went into a focal seizure, where she doesn’t lose consciousness (like she usually does during her grand mal seizures), and didn’t come out of it. we took her to the emergency veterinarian in warren, where she was admitted over night due to a spiked fever above 107. the 1 night stay and all of the medications needed to stop the seizures would be well above the maximum on our care credit and we don’t know what else to do.
if they can’t stop her seizures she’ll either need to be transported to scarborough to have a consultation with neurology which is so expensive, in addition to an MRI.
if they can’t stop her seizures, she’ll likely need to be euthanized due to brain damage, and loss of quality of life
our family is struggling on having to think about the loss of our girl, terrified that she won’t be able to come home.
we’re worried about the costs to keep her going, any help is greatly appreciated. i know that everyone is struggling in this economy and it’s christmas time, but we are hoping for a miracle
