Ava's Panes
Donation protected
Ava was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on December 20, 2017.
Although her Leukemia is considered in Remission, chemotherapy continues for another two and a half years. This is to help reduce her very high risk of relapse. Ava has endured grueling chemotherapy, with terrible side effects, multiple procedures, transfusions, and hospitalizations. She spent most of the first year hospitalized at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, where she has received the very best of care. Ava being a teen cancer patient noticed throughout her treatment that the Teen and Young Adult population have special interests and needs, that differ from the younger patients.
To further Ava’s mission, Advanced Window Systems llc., Mark Lavoie created Ava’s Panes.
Mark LaVoie, whose daughter is friends with Ava, was inspired by her strength. He realized that his family-owned-and-operated company, Advanced Window Systems, LLC (AWS), could do something to help children and families like Ava’s.
The Mission of Ava’s Panes:
The family at Advanced Window Systems, LLC would like to support Ava and her efforts to bring support and joy to patients just like her.
There are two ways you can help! Fancy an old window sash to decorate, embellish and display? Would you like to try your hand at building a greenhouse out of window sashes? Maybe add flowers or paint a landscape on a sash? Display family photos in a unique frame?
Well... We are your source for old sashes! We will store them and perhaps even deliver if you are local in exchange for a donation here on this go fund me page!!! Arts and crafts, not your thing?
That's ok! We gotcha'.
We need local artists, friends, and neighbors to get on board.
You can donate directly to this Go Fund Me without decorating a window sash or come pick up a window sash; when it sells we ask that you make a donation to this fund.
If you’re willing to help, please reach out to us on Ava's Panes Facebook !
