Support Aven Akerman (AKO) Family and Memorial bench

Dear family and friends...

My name is Tammy and as many of you already know, my sister Jessica and brother in law Chris, along with their daughter Ella suffered the traumatic loss of my nephew Aven at the age of 20 years in a single car accident on April 26th, 2024.

No matter how much we are all there for them at this heartwrenching time, nothing can heal their hearts, minds and souls as they grieve.

Many of you have dropped off meals that are a huge help and they are very grateful!

Just being able to reach for your prepared meals make their time with one another that much more as they need to be able to reach out and hug each other when the darkness peeks comes through again and again each and every single day.....

Thank you all for showing them how much they matter, how much you love them all and how much their beloved son and brother Aven meant ....

This time is an extremely difficult time and will be for some time as no parent should have to bury their child or sit crying for hours wondering what were his last words, his last actions, his last thoughts...they need this time to be able to just be together, together with no thought about how things are going to go past the next day and the next and so on...

So I'm reaching out to ask you all for some help, in order for them to be able to not have to worry about returning to work for a bit as their loss is brand new, as though it had just happened! I know that the night of April 26th plays back in their minds over and over again, like opening a new wound, one that'll never heal....

I'm reaching out in hopes to raise some funds to get a memorial bench and to make sure that some of the cost to come for them may be lessened so they can find the courage and strength to go on without their boy...any bit of donations help, helps them to be able to think of each other as they are, from the night of April 26th forward having to live now as a family of 3, that was once a happy loving family of 4....please find it in your hearts to help .....
