Avery Stark, where do we even begin?

We know if you've skated at Waterboyz, you've met this kid. He hangs out with us every single day and he’s become a part of our family. Maybe he snaked you once, maybe he followed you around the park, or maybe he talked to you about who his favorite skater or musician was that day or what trick he's trying. Even if you aren’t a skater, I’m sure you’ve met Avery at Waterboyz. He’s not shy one bit, and he’ll talk to anyone that crosses his path! Either way, if you've been to the shop, chances are you’ve ran into him.

For those that don’t know, Avery was skating on Wednesday (4/5) afternoon when he was struck by a car and is now currently in ICU.

As a community, it breaks our hearts to see anyone go through such a thing, especially someone so young.

He and his family really need our love and support right now. And while no amount of cash can change what has happened, maybe it can offer them some support for days to come.

We are also having a card drop off at the shop (Waterboyz) this weekend. If you’d like to bring a card by for Avery and his family, you have until closing on Sunday (4/9, 3pm).

All proceeds will go directly to his parents, Jessie and Russell ♡
