Avery Turner’s Medical Support

Avery had a scheduled induction for 8am on 5/15/23. She finally received an epidural at 4:30am on 5/16/23. Shortly after, Avery went into sudden cardiac arrest from an amniotic embolism and had an emergency c-section. The doctors quickly took the baby and began life-saving procedures on Avery. The doctors performed CPR for 45 minutes before putting her on life support.

Avery is still under critical care for this life threatening condition and hasn't even met her sweet baby girl yet. We are seeing great progress, but this will be a long road to recovery. Their baby is in Baylor NICU and showing good signs. Our hope is in the Lord and we are praying for a miracle for Avery, and the baby.
