Avery's Eagle Scout Project

Hi my name is Avery. I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project. My project is to build small structures to help the children in the special education program at Skaggs Elementary. These structures are designed to help developmentally delayed children explore new sights, textures, and sounds. I will be leading a group of scouts to help accomplish this. We will be making two of these. One that is big enough for a wheelchair and a smaller one that allows the children to either sit or lay down. The larger one is made out wood and pegboard. The smaller one will be made out of PVC pipe and pegboard. The pegboard allows the teachers to attach new materials that the children can explore. These funds will be used to purchase materials to create the structures. The initial budget is $720. Anything beyond that will be donated to the teachers to purchase new audio and visual activities that go inside the rooms. This will help offset the cost throughout the year.
